About People Strategies
People Strategies LLC is a Cleveland‑based consulting practice providing HR leadership and expertise to organizations navigating growth, complexity, or change. Founded by Alicia A. Love, the firm brings a practical, business‑centered approach to strengthening people systems, improving organizational effectiveness, and supporting leaders through pivotal moments.
Our work spans HR operations, compliance, employee relations, employee development, recruiting, and leadership support. We partner with organizations at pivotal moments — scaling teams, navigating complexity, building infrastructure, or preparing for their next stage of growth — as well as those needing steady, reliable HR leadership for the day‑to‑day work that keeps people supported and operations running smoothly. We also support organizations with stand‑alone HR projects — from training and team development to compensation benchmarking, policy updates, and other focused initiatives that address immediate needs. Whether the need is operational, cultural, or strategic, we bring a practical, grounded approach that meets leaders where they are and helps them move forward with confidence.
Healthy organizations don’t happen by accident. They grow from the way people, systems, and leadership work together — and that alignment is what enables clarity, trust, and momentum. When an organization is healthy, decisions are faster, communication is clearer, and people feel connected to purpose.
At People Strategies, we help leaders build that alignment — translating values into behaviors, structure into clarity, and culture into measurable outcomes. The result is a high‑performing and thriving organization that is resilient, focused, and ready to grow.
We listen, we learn your business, and we build HR strategies and solutions that fit your organization’s goals, challenges, and stage of growth.

How We Work
People Strategies operates as an embedded partner within your organization — not as an outside service provider. We work alongside your leaders to understand how your business functions, where friction exists, and what conditions are needed for people to do their best work. Our focus is on strengthening the systems, structures, and relationships that support organizational performance.
Our approach is grounded in clarity, alignment, and practical execution. We take a whole‑organization view — looking at how people, processes, and leadership interact — so the solutions we build address root causes, not just symptoms. We focus on the outcomes you are trying to achieve and design HR solutions that move you toward those goals with intention. Whether advising leaders, building foundational practices, or supporting day‑to‑day people operations, we bring a steady, strategic presence that helps your organization move forward with confidence.
We believe strong partnerships require trust, clear expectations, and proactive communication. From the beginning, we establish shared understanding around goals, priorities, and the scope of work — recognizing that the “deliverable” is often the work itself: building clarity, strengthening systems, and addressing the real‑time needs of a growing organization. We commit to transparency about what we are seeing, what decisions are needed, and what actions will move the work forward. In return, we ask for openness, responsiveness, and shared ownership of the process.
At the core of our work is a simple belief: when people thrive, organizations thrive. We help create the conditions that make that possible — through thoughtful strategy, responsive partnership, and solutions that are both human‑centered and operationally sound. And throughout every engagement, we focus on building internal capacity, not dependency, so your organization grows stronger long after our work together is complete.
Relational Principles
The way we work is guided by a set of relational principles that shape every engagement. These commitments create the clarity, trust, and shared ownership needed for the work to move forward in a healthy and effective way.
Mutual Commitment to Shared Success
We approach every engagement as a partnership grounded in mutual accountability. We commit to understanding your goals, your challenges, and the realities of your organization — and we ask for open communication, clarity, and follow‑through in return. When both sides bring honesty, transparency, and shared ownership, the work moves faster, the outcomes are stronger, and the partnership thrives.
Clear Guardrails, Positive Intent, and a Steady Hand
We believe that strong partnerships require clarity, boundaries, and trust. We establish expectations early, communicate openly, and operate with positive intent — even when navigating difficult decisions or complex dynamics. Our role is to provide a steady, strategic presence that helps leaders stay grounded, make informed decisions, and move forward with confidence.
